4 Coats For Fall and Winter

Some of you are fully into the cold months! Others of us are just making the transition to cooler weather. Regardless of where you are on the maps, these are four coats you should be looking for this Fall/Winter!

1. Trench Coat

With its roots coming from military-wear, trench coats have a clean look that is extremely versatile. Most trenches aren't too thick, so you can wear them on cool evenings, or over multiple layers in more extreme conditions. Either way, most have a waist belt that you can tie for a cinched and tailored finish.

2. Rain Coat

A good raincoat can be functional and stylish at the same time, giving you the opportunity to stay dry AND look good.

3. Over Coat

The most common coat (for good reason) is the overcoat. The classic clean design pairs well in the city over a suit, or in the mountains over denim. If you can only nab one of the coats on this list, start with the overcoat.

4. Chore Coat

The chore coat's origin is true to its name. It emerged in the American industrial revolution. Functional with its blazer-like fit, multiple pockets, and typically durable fabrics, it's able to fit in with and withstand most work environments.
