I’m always fascinated by the enlightenment that comes from exposing myself to a culture that is different from my own. This could be eating a new food, listening to different music, seeing things I've never seen before, and/or hearing stories from people who have lived a different life than I have. We can experience some of these by making little out-of-the-ordinary decisions in our days - and/or we can experience all of these by traveling somewhere we've never been before.
We recently found ourselves, for the first time, in San Diego doing some creative styling and photography for Crosby Square. We immediately jumped into the delightful San Diego culture by eating a massive lobster roll and delectable oysters from Ironside Oysters, attending a few races at the beautiful Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, and peering over the beautiful cliffs that line the Pacific Ocean.
Crosby Square seems to have made a good decision in pairing a distinguished product with a distinguished city. These kicks are extremely versatile and are stylish all year, regardless of season. The brand has also found an ability to couple a classic design with current features making them stylistically multifaceted - to be utilized by every kind of man.
Below are some images from our time in this unbelievably beautiful city and our time with Crosby Square.
