Last weekend, Zac and Clay flew into town from NYC to attend the ever-growing Charleston Fashion Week (CFW). We had an unbelievable time catching up with old friends and had the priveledge making many new ones. The majority of the week was centered around women's style, but when it came time for menswear, CFW knocked it out of the park this year by bringing in featured New York City designers, Todd Snyder and Carlos Campos. Both of these gentleman not only have incredible collections, but are equally amazing people. We were fortunate to spend some time Todd, Carlos (and even David Hart), and were blown away by their genuineness and passion for menswear. Thank you to Charleston Fashion Week for making it possible for us to attend this year! We will be back for an even bigger and better show next year.
Below is our top 5 favorite picks from Todd's collection and our top 5 from Carlos' collection. Enjoy!
Key Takeaway: Don't be afraid to rock a killer outerwear piece with shorts. This is honestly something I never really thought about doing, but after watching half the guys walk the runway with shorts, I got the point. It's really a great way to layer in the Spring, and it just looks really cool. Well done, Todd!
We also took over Todd's Instagram on Friday night and snapped some cool shots from behind the scenes and the front row. Also, check out some shots of us rocking Todd Snyder gear.
Key Takeaway: Black and Navy are in. Carlos nailed it. From the simple color combinations to his sleek and minimalistic design of slacks and tops, I am looking forward rocking one of these looks very soon.
