Music & Style

No means of communication is more universal than music. Across nearly all cultures, languages, and lifestyles, the common denominator seems to be music.

I (Zac) had the opportunity to go to Pilgrimage Music Festival in Franklin, Tennessee and hang with my friends at The Frye Company

It is evident that style and music go hand in hand - NOT because the everyone in the music industry is interested in the fashion industry, but because the everyone in the music industry is invested in truly expressing themselves. Though every musician's style may not be mainstream (quite the opposite), and you may not like it - they are who they are and most of them don't give a damn what others think.

I feel like that's when you make strides towards finding yourself (your style, your personality, your identity as a whole) - when you don't give a damn about all the judgments of others and you are committed to being 100% your innate self.

Here are a few shots I took of bands and a few friends at Pilgrimage - a wide array of styles!

Special shout to Avett Brothers, Colony House, Esther Rose, Mike Wolf (American Pickers), Shovels & Rope, Texas Gentlemen, The Sisterhood, Trombone Shorty, and Walk The Moon!
